This literacy portfolio is a collection of the research and learning I experienced during my Master's in Education courses through City University of Seattle.
Literacy Portfolio
Diana Wagner's
My name is Diana Wagner, and I have been teaching for nine years. I received my teaching degree through Western Washington University in 2000. I taught three years of special education classes at the high school level, and then switched my focus to English Language Learners. I now teach ELL students at the elementary level and hope to continue this job for many years.
During my Master of Education Reading and Literacy Program, I took six courses that were concentrated on the Foundations of Education. The "Foundations" tab above will take you to the classwork that I completed during these courses and the learning that took place. The "Reading and Literacy" tab will take you to the coursework that was completed that helped me to develop my knowledge of teaching strategies in my classroom, curriculum, and how to use assessment data to guide my instruction.
